My painting contracting business specializes in custom homes and restorations, and we finish a lot of siding and trim prior to installation. In order to dry large deliveries, we build simple drying racks by cutting a 2×4 into small blocks and screwing them onto the ends of 8-ft. 2x4s. This allows large amounts of material to dry with minimal contact points.
