On a recent photo-scouting trip I was fortunate enough to visit this construction site. While being on site is an experience that isn’t for everybody, I’ve always enjoyed the insight into what actually goes in to making a space possible. The supporting steel I-beams (which span 45 feet) in this structure enable the architect to open up the living space with a 14foot high window wall. In a matter of months (hopefully) I will be back in this space, which will have been transformed into an elegant living room.
