QuickDrain USA‘s linear drains are meant to be unobtrusive, but the company’s latest is virtually invisible. The WallDrain
tucks in the joint between the shower pan and studs (the wall is furred out to fit over it), leaving a gap through which runoff drains away under the wall. Its stainless-steel design incorporates a sloped trough (the company’s Sure Flow System) to keep water moving through the drain; the cover is held on with magnets and can be removed for cleaning. The WallDrain comes in three standard lengths (48 in., 72 in., and 96 in.), with trough extensions for an exact fit. To maintain invisibility, the grate assembly also can be adjusted to match the thickness of the wall covering.
