Tapping into the trend toward industrial finishes, Caesarstone‘s 2015 color additions include three designed as more consistent, more durable alternatives to concrete countertops. Raw Concrete, Sleek Concrete, and Fresh Concrete feature the same nonporous, heat- and stain-resistant qualities as the maker’s other quartz surfaces; their slightly rougher surface texture, though, requires a bit more daily diligence than Caesarstone’s polished finishes. (Fingerprints and the like can be removed with household cleansers.) The material is available in 1⁄4-in. or 3⁄4-in. thicknesses and 12 edge profiles.
Prices for a 561⁄2-in. by 120-in. slab start at $920.
