Just about everyone has a push broom, but still, it’s not a tool we get too excited about. But, we’ve probably all broken or had to deal with a broken push broom. We aren’t gentle with them and they do tend to break fairly easily. And, as you’re cleaning up a worksite, they pass every impact right up to your hands. Flex Sweep has a broom setup that solves these problems.
The 58-in. aluminum handles are said to be unbreakable and feature a cushioned grip.
The connector is made for elastomer that flexes and absorbs impact. Using T-knobs, it connects with no tools and also carries the unbreakable claim. What may be the best feature is the handle can’t unthread from the connector.
A variety of broom blocks are offered with fine to coarse styrene bristles, and replacement blocks are available. The broom blocks are made out of hardwood, and mod head and squeegees are available.
In the video below, you can check out the Flex Sweep founder, Simon Cassar, on the popular Shark Tank show. They pass on his invention, but make sure you watch until the very end.
