This beautiful house in Camden, Maine is now active as the Maine Stay Inn, but it was built in 1802 as a private residence. The original owner was related to John Adams, who had recently finished his term as U.S. President when the house was built. Many changes were made over the years but today the house resembles how it looked in the 1860’s. This image was made several years ago, at just about this time of year and the house has a quintessential New England look, all decorated for Christmas. Nice….
