Octagonal in shape, the space has lovely views of the water and meadows outdoors. Clerestory windows add ventilation and light to the room, as well as a sense of openness and transparency. The floor of beechwood has a cherry inlay reflecting the pattern of the rafters in the ceiling. The fireplace, made of limestone, completes the space with a source of light and warmth.
