This Caribbean guest suite is a study in saturated color and reclaimed materials. The designers created the custom headboard with a carved Thai panel, charred and then sealed with a high-gloss finish surrounded by a metal bar stock frame. The large floor mirror’s frame is wrapped in multi-colored reclaimed metal cans and the nightstand is Thomas Bina from found, fallen tropical woods. The colorful collection of bedding are artisan pieces from Central America. I love the colors in this room because they are as vibrant as the sky, flowers and water on this tropical island.
