This room demonstrates cohesion between the architecture and the interior design that creates a calm and inviting space. The choice of wide-plank white-oak floors in a natural finish complements the color palette and diffuse light coming through the sheer draperies. It’s truly a pleasure to see talented professionals collaborate. When one walks into a bedroom like this one, everything feels “just right.”

Too often, home-renovation projects end up becoming contests between interior designers, architects, and/or contractors. When that happens, nobody wins.
