It is a rare and wonderful thing when a homeowner is dedicated to Art. This dining room is a fine example of a space that lets Art takes center stage. Careful planning and resources come together to make this room seemingly effortless. The wall-paper has woven silk ridges that extend ½ inch from the wall- (it lends a richness and subtly to the light), the light fixture weighs 400 pounds and the ceiling had to be modified to support it. The “painting” is actually a collage made up of thousands of words from fashion magazines. Taken together, a glorious space.
