Classic Farmhouse Restoration
This beautiful 1890s farmhouse remodel featured lifting the original house and pouring a new basement.
Placed in the middle of a long-running Christmas Tree farm, this project was a beautiful restoration to an 1890s farmhouse. The original house was lifted and moved from its crumbling foundation, and a new basement was excavated and poured. Once the house was reset, a large addition was added on, mimicking the style of the original design. The cracked and damaged plaster was repaired in order to maintain the original feel of the home. The entire interior was updated with designer fixtures and finishes, and the floors were salvaged from 100 year old barn board. The site work included a new well, driveway, 3 car garage, and over 400 feet of new stone walls, with rock reclaimed from the site.
