A beautiful example of a historic home prepared for the Yule season.

This historic home in Kennebunk, Maine, illustrates much of what comes to mind when considering being home for the holidays. The inviting porch sends a welcoming message, contrasting the snow and cold outdoors with wreaths, warm lighting coming from within, and firewood stacked by the door. Architecturally, the house is interesting, with a beautiful fanlight above the door, delicate and unusual window trim, and austere but elegant columns lining the porch. This is a beautiful example of a historic home prepared for the Yule season.
