Interior Designer Mary Drysdale took creative advantage of the floor space to expand her ideas for this children’s room in a coastal New England house. She had lyrics from the song “By The Sea, By The Sea, By The Beautiful Sea” painted on to the pale blue floor and bordered the words with nautical rope to add interest. She also painted subtley colored seashells and starfish on the muted pink walls, giving additional seaside atmosphere to the space. Very nice!
