Abstract Notions of Summer
Sometimes getting the right shot means going to unusual lengths!
Shooting architecture sometimes involves materials details. These “simple” details, often added to the shot lists on the fly, can be deceptively complex to execute. This image, which was first scouted on an iPhone, involved the camera being cantilevered out over the concrete 10 feet below and then climbing up above the camera to be able to focus the image. The plus side is gaining a fresh perspective on your subject.
