Two Excellent Martinez Framing Hammers
Check out this quick video review of two new hammers from the founder of Stiletto.
In this Tool Tech video, Patrick walks viewers through the features of the Martinez M1 and Martez wood-handle steel-head framing hammers. Mark Martinez invented the first titanium framing hammer and trim hammer, and now he’s back with these new hammers. They feature a forward-weighted design, and easy-to-replace heads with both waffle and smooth faces. Martinez has adapted the grip from high-end golf clubs, and it’s replaceable in case it wears out. The wood handle is also available in a straight handle, or an axe. Plus, both hammers are made in the United States.
[In his review of these hammers, FHB contributor Kiefer Limeback calls the Titanium handle M1 “quite possibly one of the best looking and most functional hammers of all time,” and regarding these two hammers, he says, “either is a smart choice.”]
