Intimate Kitchen Workstation
A Canadian manufacturer and American designer team up to rethink the common sink.
Move the sink to the corner of a kitchen island and you instantly double the workspace around it. This seems like such a simple solution, but it’s one that designer Matthew Quinn has executed elegantly in the SocialCorner sink by Home Refinements. It’s more than just a good-looking, modern sink—the flat sides take advantage of every cubic inch available, and the subtle creases in the floor of the sink allow for good drainage.
- Made of brushed stainless steel
- Available in 23-in., 29-in., and 35-in. right- or left-corner models
- $2,750 to $2,900
Accessorize for added efficiency
As with all Home Refinements collections, optional hardwood and stainless-steel accessories—such as colanders, cutting boards, and drying racks—snugly straddle the SocialCorner, making it even more of a kitchen space saver.

Nice looking design, the creases look useful. Not having counter space on either side of the sink would be a disadvantage for my kitchen workflows.
$3,000 for a sink?
Wow! like the idea for the corner. Would have to be the right remodel or new construction project to use. Just one thing -- the price. I would not know where to begin to budget for a sink like that. Or even want to show it to a customer. Do I even keep the web site for the manufacture? Wow - three grand for a sink? And I bet the accessories are not included. That doesn't count the cabinet for it.
