This west-facing living room offers beautiful sunset views over mountain peaks.

The homeowners wanted an outdoor gathering place for family and friends to visit with plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing. Beautiful sunsets over the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain can be enjoyed all year-round. Easy access to and from the kitchen through the sliding glass doors makes the space a convenient place for any type of occasion. Both the ceiling and floor are Douglas fir (the floor is painted). The ceiling fixture is Norwell Schoolhouse in oil-rubbed bronze with a shiny opal shade.
