Viewing a House from a Distance …
It's important to see the environment where a house is sited.
This renovated farmhouse nestled in the hills of coastal Maine is shown here in its context across the autumnal blueberry fields. From a distance, the house is seen clearly in its site and shows a perspective that could not be shown from closer in. This image was done as part of a complete shoot at the house and adds an important element in documenting the place. When shooting a house I like to see it from many perspectives, and when possible it’s nice to include a shot from far away. In this case the surroundings are quite picturesque, but even when things aren’t quite as lovely it’s important to see the environment where a house is sited.
