In my blog post from August 10 of this year, I showed the entrance and foyer of a cool lakefront house designed by architect Jeremiah Eck. Today, we look at an interior shot of that same house and focus on an interesting design feature. Just off the kitchen and adjacent to the large outdoor deck, Eck created a pass-through with a dining counter on both the outside and inside. The pass-through enables one to sit comfortably and have a meal either inside or out and have easy access to the kitchen or the deck. As part of the open design plan of the great room, it eases access to the outdoors and helps to make the house more livable and fun. Nice!
