A Bathroom Design for a Sloped Ceiling

This bath is a natural fit for a house with a sloped roof

We photographed this guest bathroom late in the day with diffused western light shining in through the shower window. The bathroom was designed for natural light to fill the space from midday to sunset. It fits well into the sloped roof of a one-half story. The vanity countertop is marble, and marble tiles were used in the shower. A small accent of color was added to the space with a painting by Sage Goldsmith. The timing was right for the shot with the soft glow of late afternoon light. Lovely.
