A Hot Housing Market
Stripped of its siding, this house shows off parts that are seldom seen.
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the hottest, some might say over heated, housing markets in the country.
I noticed this “fixer-upper’ the other day in Berkeley and had to stop to make some images. A home without siding is quite exposed and vulnerable, I do love the fact that there still are curtains in the front window.
When I returned to my office, I looked up the home and found it had sold in March of this year. It is 902 square feet and was built in 1942. Any guesses on the price?
