Decorative painter Hope Angier turns simple stair risers into a work of art.
Here’s a clever idea for a space that is often overlooked, the stair riser. The homeowner asked interior decorative painter Hope Angier to paint murals of the homes he had renovated over the years onto the stair risers of his newly renovated historic home. The result is a highly personalized and creative “portfolio” that befits its setting. Angier also painted several other murals on the walls throughout the house in addition to some very interesting painted floors, adding great value to the house. Skilled artisans, whether they be carpenters, masons, lighting technicians or painters can often transform what might be ordinary into something extraordinary!
