Watched Podcast 161 specifically for the part about hardwood floors. Okay, learned a LOT about floors/Warmboard. It was interesting/entertaining, too, but I'm past that (retired, never going to build or remodel on that scale ever again - i hope i hope. That line about lots of contractors/tradesmen will accept anything new as long as their grandfathers did it that way - that was an absolute gem! Used to be the bane of my life. If a contractor tells me "That's too expensive, you don't have to do that, this other way is much less expensive and works just as well", i scream and find someone else.
It was false advertising - you could have told us in advance that you had canceled the hardwood portion, although your warmboard guest did a fine job of broaching the subject. The subjects of these Podcasts: the one I'm always most interested in, is always the last one. I'm resigned to that, but this was a bit much.
Can you try to do less talking over each other? I do appreciate the enthusiasm, but...!
Still, keep up the good work.
