Make Plans Talk
Laminated construction documents makes mark-up easy and erasable.
Here’s a way to make plans more useful to subcontractors. When I first get a set of plans, I laminate them. Then I use dry-erase markers to make easily removable notes and clarifications right on the plans. I use different-color markers to indicate different trades. In addition to making notes and changes easier, the laminating also helps the plans stay in good shape for the duration of the project.
