Keep Your Field Crew Up to Date
Give the whole crew access to important information on any project or job site by using QR codes.
We like to use QR codes to give the whole crew access to project plans, scope, selections, and change orders. We update files from the office, so the field crew is always up to date. We make the QR codes using a website called flowcode.com, which creates a limited number of QR codes for free. There are different options for what the code does, but we have ours linked to a private page on our website that you can only view through the QR code. You can link the QR code to a photo, CAD file, Google Doc, etc.
Once the code brings you to our website, you can see the scope and plans for the project and all the customer selections for trim details, doors, kitchen cabinets, paint colors, and everything in between. There is a description of most selections and additional links for the items ordered, along with any pertinent instructions. We have several QR codes set up and reuse them with new information when the original link is no longer needed.
