BS* + Beer KC Group: Virtual Design Charrettes
In this webinar, learn how builders, architects, engineers, suppliers, and clients can all benefit from the design charrette process now that collaboration through virtual means has become more routine.
In this webinar hosted by the Kansas City BS* + Beer chapter, we are joined by Ken Riead of the EnergySmart Institute and Connor Malloy of George Brown College. Our topics center around the design charrette process, the value of integrative project team meetings, and ways to utilize technologies and systems to bring all the players into the fold in order to collaboratively solve problems in the virtual realm rather than in the field.
Originally presented live on Tuesday, December 7th @ 5pm EST
Builders, architects, engineers, suppliers, and clients can all benefit from the design charrette process now that collaboration through virtual means has become more routine. His presentation will walk us through of a virtual design charrette where all the players can actively participate in the process through information sharing, raising questions, identifying problems, offering solutions, or even simply organizing projects amongst multiple team members. Connor will then share the tools and systems he uses for design charrettes which include collaborative virtual “boards.”
The ability to instantly share input, access information, modify and adjust to input allows for the design / build team to race through problems online that would cause lost time or lesser outcomes in the field.
