Cleaner Paintbrushes
If you can never clean a brush to your own satisfaction, check out this tip.
I can never clean a brush to my own satisfaction, but fortunately my wife, an artist, told me that I just don’t know how to do it property. When I gave her a few paintbrushes to clean, I was amazed at how spotless they were when I got them back. Her secret: Murphy Oil Soap. If the brush is in pretty good shape, use your hands to work the soap through the bristles for a few minutes, and then rinse with warm water. If the brush has dried paint deep in the bristles or ferrule, let the brush soak in a container of soap overnight. It will clean up the nastiest of brushes, and it works on latex and oil.

Do you use the Murphy's full strength or diluted? If diluted, what ratio?
Thanks!
