Complete Bit Sets
With its combination of bits and sockets, the Wera Tool-Check Plus kit better prepares me for almost any fastener I come across.
No matter where I go, there is always a repair of some sort that patiently awaits my arrival. As you might imagine, it’s great fun—until I find myself dealing with tamper-proof torx screws. Keeping a compact-yet-complete driver set in my truck has always been a challenge—until I discovered the Wera Tool-Check Plus kit with its combination of bits and sockets. Now I’m better prepared for almost any fastener I come across.
I have the standard and the metric versions of the Tool-Check Plus, each retailing for around $80. The kits have an innovative storage case that holds a compact ratchet, a compact screwdriver handle, 1⁄4-in. drive sockets, and a comprehensive bit assortment that includes tamper-proof torx, Pozidrive, and hex bits. A bit adapter serves as an extension and allows these bits to be used in a drill or impact driver. They aren’t impact-rated, but they hold up extremely well in my experience.
Manufactured in the Czech Republic, these high-quality bit sets provide a great sense of satisfaction every time I use them.
