Non-Permanent Markers
Sometimes you want to clearly mark something, but also easily wipe it away when done.
I always keep water-soluble markers in my truck. Made for writing on fabric, they are the best thing I have ever found for marking locations on finished materials that have been painted or varnished. I usually use the darker colors because they show up better. The big advantage to using these is that they have a very sharp, tough point, and the ink easily wipes off. The experience is much better than using a regular pencil.
