I installed a Yolink system to detect water links. I have ten sensors, and a water shutoff valve. All are battery powered. If there is a leak, I get notified, and water is shut off. If my WiFi is down, the sensors will shut off the water, but I won't get notified. Can't speak to longevity, but I'm impressed so far. $300 for all I installed. I might add a temperature sensor, to let me know if the freezer isn't cold enough.
