Easier Dust Collection
Use a plastic zipper bag to contain the dust when drilling a hole.
When I need to drill a hole in a vertical surface and want to avoid making a mess on the surfaces below, I grab a plastic zipper bag, hold it open with a piece of scrap wire, and tape it to the wall beneath the location where I will drill the hole. It works perfectly to contain dust, with no need to vacuum up afterward.
