A Wall Oven for a Small Space
These elegant wall ovens from Bosch are modest in size but not in features.
Because they can be installed at any height, wall ovens make a lot of ergonomic sense. And with straightforward, tactile control panels, Bosch’s small 500 Series wall ovens are especially user-friendly. While many appliance manufacturers are burying their extra features in complicated digital menus, Bosch chose to stick with elegant, clearly labeled knobs or rotary selectors and simple linear lists of functions. And at 2 ft. wide, these ovens are especially easy to work into any kitchen layout.
Convection cooking has become a fairly standard oven feature these days, but the 500 Series ovens take it to the next level with an additional circular heating element on the back wall to evenly distribute heat to food on more than one level at a time in multi-rack mode. Other custom cooking settings—including convection broil, rapid defrost, and pie mode—adjust the multiple heating elements and fan to more evenly cook specific types of foods.
Opt for the $2100 HBE5453UC model if you like the simplicity of two-knob control, or get the $2400 HBE5452UC model if you prefer the touch-sensitive rotary knob and the added WiFi connectivity.
