Straighten Plywood Panels
Use a temporary screw to pull warped panels into position when building cabinet boxes.
If you want to make sure everything aligns properly when you install cabinets, it’s essential that all the panels in the carcass are lined up perfectly. If one panel is warped and bows out, the fix is simple: just push it in flush and fasten it. It’s a little trickier if the panel is bowed in.
I handle this by driving a screw partially into the offending panel near the edge and use the claw of a hammer to pull the panel back into alignment. Of course, don’t use this tip on an exposed finished surface. The same concept can work in a lot of framing scenarios as well.
