Save Batt Bags for Reuse
Empty insulation bags can serve as handy storage for cutoff scraps of insulation or as convenient trash bags for the job site.
When working with insulation, I like to save some of the bags that the insulation comes in. So instead of cutting the bag open along the side, I just cut one end and sort of peel the bag off the insulation, leaving it intact. I not only use these bags to collect general trash around the job site, but I also use them to store the cutoff scraps of insulation that work well for stuffing all those small nooks and crannies.
