Makeshift Foam Tip for Tight Spots
Use a scrap of nonmetallic cable sheathing to extend a spray-foam-gun tip into hard-to-reach areas.
Here’s a tip that was taught to me once on a job site. Grab a small scrap of sheathing (the PVC covering) from a discarded piece of nonmetallic electrical cable and stick it onto the end of your spray-foam gun. The sheathing will be able to slip deeper into those hard-to-reach areas the gun tip can’t reach. When you’re done, just toss the sheathing, clean the gun with acetone, and you’re ready for the next job.
