Allie Berenyi

Allie Berenyi has been teaching carpentry for twenty years as a senior faculty member of the Construction and Remodeling program at Madison College in Madison, Wis. One of her greatest joys is when a student who couldn’t read a tape measure or had never operated a circular saw begins talking and working like a carpenter just a few months later. For Allie, it’s even more gratifying when that person is a woman or someone who has traditionally been kept out of the industry.
