Bryan J. Higgins has a diverse background in architecture, having practiced in Philadelphia, Boston, and Portland, Ore. Bryan has designed projects as varied as restaurants, public libraries, and university science centers. The home featured in the article “Living With Only What You Need” (issue #163) was his first house project, and he designed it so that the downstairs library could be converted into a nursery. By the time his article, was published, the room was no longer a library.
