Fu-Tung Cheng
Fu-Tung Cheng is founder and principal of the design firm Cheng Design, a custom home and commercial-product design firm based in Berkeley, California. A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, he is an award-winning designer and best-selling author internationally known for his sophisticated residential designs and innovative use of materials. He is the author of the best-selling book Concrete Countertops (The Taunton Press, 2002) and Concrete at Home (The Taunton Press, 2005). His designs have appeared in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, House Beautiful, Dwell, Concrete Decor, and Fine Homebuilding. In 2006, Fu-Tung was inducted into the Kitchen & Bath Industry Hall of Fame. Cheng is a frequent guest speaker on the subject of art, architecture, building, and the home.
