Geoffrey Holton

Geoffrey Holton has practiced and taught architecture in the San Francisco Bay Area since the late 1980s. He formed his own firm, GHA (www.ghadesign.net), in Oakland in 1996. Geoff’s long-held convictions about green design have recently borne fruit. Besides winning local awards for green architecture projects, his firm has placed highly in international sustainable-design competitions. When not working on his own never-quite-finished house, Geoff enjoys biking in the city and hiking as far away from the city as he and his family can get.
