Hobie Guion

Hobie Guion is a contractor who collaborates with Bill Heigis on building projects in central Vermont. Hobie has degrees in architecture and building technology from Vermont Technical College; Bill holds degrees in environmental studies from the University of Vermont and in environmental engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Both have an abiding interest in energy efficiency and green building; they have worked on everything from Earthships to straw-bale, timber-frame, and stick-built homes. Although they enjoy the challenges of designing and engineering, they still wear their tool belts most days.
