A former engineer, James Doman consulted for the Department of Energy and worked for General Electric for 17 years before becoming a full-time carpenter and remodeler. He is also a BPI-certified energy auditor and has performed over 100 audits in the past year while maintaining an active remodeling business. His goal is to make historic and older homes more energy efficient.
