Jamie Lyons, designer of the HVAC system for the PATH Concept House in Omaha, Neb., is a mechanical and environmental engineer and senior consultant for Newport Partners, LLC (http://www.newportpartnersllc.com/). He has been researching, analyzing, and designing building systems to make houses work better since the mid-1990s. Jamie, along with FHB author Jay Crandell, is a co-author of HUD’s Durability by Design (2002) and its forthcoming revision.
