After spending more than 25 years building New Energy Works Timberframers and Pioneer Millworks in western New York, Jonathan Orpin and his wife, Maxine Bromfield, packed up the boy, the dog, and the cat and moved west to, as he put it, “get a view from a different mountain. Not a better one, just different.” Maxine handles interior design for the company on selected projects.
