Michael P. Keyes earned a degree in forestry at the University of Montana in Missoula, but found the forestry profession less lucrative than home building. He moved to Rockville, Md., to start Big Sky Construction, which morphed into Big Sky Cabinetry. These days, Mike spends most of his time cleaning up and managing a 400-acre farm that he and his brother bought together.
