Nicole Starnes Taylor
Nicole Starnes Taylor knew she’d be a better architect if she had construction experience, so she spent several years in the field as a carpenter. From jackhammering concrete to trimming out doors and installing hardware, she learned it all firsthand. Nicole says, “I loved it, and to this day, those two years taught me more than architecture practice and schooling combined.”
