Roxi Thoren is an assistant professor in the architecture and landscape-architecture departments at the University of Oregon; she teaches urban design, ecological urbanism, and professional practice. Roxi has worked for architectural firms in Boston, Philadelphia, and Charlottesville, N.C. She researches neighborhood design based on ecological processes, including water-quality improvement, energy independence, and urban agriculture.
