Tanis Shaw
Although Tanis and Gene Shaw both studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in the 1970s, they didn’t meet until 1984, at the school’s annual student art show. Gene is founder of The Wooden Plane, which specializes in home restoration and custom cabinetry. Tanis is the company’s office manager and also pursues her own interests in art and volunteer work.
