Wayne Hymer
At 21 years old, Wayne Hymer left the cooking industry and began working as a carpenter. Wayne describes himself as self-taught, working his way through larger and larger projects and learning on the job, researching industry standards and codes in his spare time. Completing the Residential Drafting program at Southern Maine Community College made him more familiar with framing in residential construction. In 1999 he opened his own contracting business, Wayne Hymer Inc.
