Having used a Makita for 8 years and then using a Bosch for the past 3, I am looking at the Milwaukee, any feedback ? I did look at the Festool, but there seems to not be that much there to support the $1,300 price tag.
I’m tired of the Bosch creeping over each time I tighten up the miter angle.
The primary use for my saws are stairbuilding work.

Curious to hear as well. My DW708 seems like it needs to be re-squared every few days now - really kills productivity. If the Kapex stayed dead-on for a decade or two it might come close to being worth the 100% markup....
I just picked one up before Christmas. The Home Depot in Ridgeland, MS has them for $499. I've check the other ones in the area, and also down in Louisiana, and no other stores have them for that price. Don't know why. As for use, I can say that it was perfect out of the box. I haven't used it a whole lot yet, since I haven't had a chance to build new extensions, and my 15-20 year old 10" Craftsman is set up perfectly for my current project.
It's a very nice saw... there's been several threads on it, do a search.http://www.tvwsolar.com
I went down to the lobby
To make a small call out.
A pretty dancing girl was there,
And she began to shout,
"Go on back to see the gypsy.
He can move you from the rear,
Drive you from your fear,
Bring you through the mirror.
He did it in Las Vegas,
And he can do it here."
I am on my second Hitachi 10 inch now with the laser have no complaints
