Stopped at my local tool store on the used rack was a vintage PC 12″circular saw, tag said “20 amp motor” $175. Looked like a decent buy- if you have the need.
The awful thing is that beauty is mysterious as well as terrible. God and the devil are fighting there, and the battlefield is the heart of man.

I think I would have bought that, regardless of need.
Did you?
I think the $175 was below list when they were new. It is a bargain. Just to give you an idea:
The kit to convert your worm drive saw into a 10-inch "BigFoot" saw is $300. Current retail on the Makita 10-inch is $550. The 13-inch Mafell is $2662.
I'd buy it. Worse case scenario you could double your money on ebay.

Sell a tool?
What kind of pervert are you?

PS: sell a tool, my wife can do that after I'm dead.
I said he could sell it. I've never sold a tool. I even buy tools for trades I don't ever expect to do. I used to buy tools, off guys who got a little too drunk, and ended out without enough money to live on for the next week. I'd offer them what ever the pawn shops would, usually 20 or 30 cents on the dollar if it was in really good shape. I was trying to low ball, the price so they felt cheated, and would come back to redeem it on payday. If they showed up payday with the money it was a loan. If not, I owned the tool. I've got: a set of chassis punches and slug busters for electrical stuff, mostly still new in the box, only one slug buster had been used; a Porter Cable dry wall sander; dry wall stilts, (the thirteen year old has them mastered); some nifty little scaffolds that are 2-ft X 4-ft, and on casters; two 32-ft fiberglass extension ladders; 2 fraiming nailers, a coil roofing nailer, five finish nailers, 3 brad nailers, two of the dedicated engineered wood flooring staplers, a flooring nailer, and two pinners; four trim routers, and six routers; a portable table saw, a couple of miter saws on stands, a radial arm saw (which I did give away); a fall arrest reel, and cable stay system, (used it on my daughters climbing wall, so I'm pretty sure she thinks it is hers now). That's just the stuff I remember offhand, that I bought off guys at jobsites. I won't even start on the new stuff, I've got that has never been used, that I bought because it was a bargain.
Congratulations!

Sorry I accused you, obviously I was mistaken.
Only truly useless thing I own is a 3/4" drill motor. B&D made in Italy, weighs about 40 pounds.
